Now THAT's service...
Before Kat was due to come in for her shift, Jake decided to leave her a makeshift 'good morning' treat.

A cinnamon-raisin bagel with a small tub of blueberry cream cheese for breakfast along with the usual, promised, daily apple and string cheese to save for later.

All were tucked neatly inside a small lunch cooler [and as an excuse for her to stop by and visit him while dropping it back off later].

Kat was running late this morning, which was unusual. She had forgotten to set her alarm the night before and had woken up late. She hurried into the outer office area and put down her purse.

Discovering a lunch cooler on her desk, she opened it and found a bagel, cream cheese, and her usual snacks from Jake. She smiled and happily picked up the bagel, slathering the blueberry cream cheese on it.

After a not-so-great start to the morning, Kat was grateful for the thoughtful gesture. She would have to find Jake later and thank him in person.
